Take a look at the interiors of this incredible Maximalist Home in California! It’s a luxury dream home on the California Coast.
Designed by Mary McDonald, this home portrays its owners, a wildly successful pair founder of Too Faced, a California-based cosmetics brand, and their bold aesthetic!
Bought by Estée Lauder in 2016 the brand started as a start-up and grew to become the most expensive acquisition in Estée Lauder’s history.
Let’s take a tour of their luxury home!
The 17 000 Square foot modern home is set in Corona del Mar, a seaside neighborhood in California. Above it’s pictured the structured entryway.
In the five and a half years that took to build and design the couple’s new home, the interior designer had to “exercise a fair bit of editing” so the interiors wouldn’t be too much but still fun and colorful! The office boasts a bold teal color but still has an old library kind of feel.
The couple’s dream was to have a home with a historical french-style vibe with a modern twist with dramatic elements all over. The master bathroom is an area that shows how this desire was brought to life!
The house also features subtle touches that are a nod to Too Faced, as the pink sofas in the room pictured above, representing the brand’s signature packaging.
And even though the entire home feels very bright and colorful, the master bedroom was created to be a calm oasis with a clean palette. It features a 19th-century French mantel and a chandelier from the 1970s.
We are big fans of this living room décor! Crystal chandeliers and velvet sofas? Yes, please!
To top off this luxury home, it also features a kitchen equipped with the best features!
