Monaco is the cradle of the superyacht and this year’s Monaco Yacht Show presented the world’s most luxury yachts, with their nautical innovation, decks and elegant fittings. In the past few years, the number of yachts at this luxury bay has increased and this year event has count with the best modern yacht industry. This year’s trend is not just ‘expedition yachts’, luxury designed yachts to go anywhere for long periods of time, but ‘shadow boats’, a modern design support vessel that follows the main yacht and goes laden with jet skis, tenders, personal submarines and helicopters. The shadow boat frees up space above and below on the main boat for more luxury interior accommodation.
The Florida 88 was one of the stars of the show, presenting a super luxurious powerboat format.
The modern design of this luxury yachts stood out during the entire event. Presenting a stunning interior design, these luxury yachts provide a luxury lifestyle to everyone on board. The Heesen, design by Omega Architects, presents a contemporary interior design by Sinot Yacht Design. The ship should take waves in 2017.
Providing a maximum of 33 berths, for 19 crew elements and 14 passengers), the Ottantacinque offers an amazing luxury design worthy of mega yachts aesthetics.
The Oceanco Acquaintance is a monumental yacht with presents ten guest cabins, a glass walled swimming pool, a spa area and a ‘beach club’. The luxury yacht also presents a stunning lighting design, with a beautiful merge with the sea waters.
Another highlight was the glass-sided swimming pools, a new Dutch innovation. A bed platform that would constantly adapts to the movements of the sea, theoretically providing a stable place to sleep. This way, even the most seasick person would enjoy their time offshore.
