Demi Moore’s incredible new york penthouse was finally sold after 2 years on the market, and all it took was a $16 million cut!
If you have been looking for new flats to move in, you lost a lifetime opportunity. Celebrity actress Demi Moore finally put her duplex penthouse in San Remo for sale, and it was recently sold for $45 Million!
The celebrity home was first put on the market two years ago for $75 Million, but later she decided to cut down the price by $16 million, having parted ways with the 17 room residence.
Although this cut was made, it wasn’t big enough to save the celebrity penthouse from being considered the priciest sale ever at the historic West side Building. The reasons behind such sale lays within the celebrity’s lack of time to actually stay in the property. “This apartment is too magnificent not to be lived in full time” says Moore.
And we simply couldn’t agree more.
Moore’s new york penthouse has approximately 7,000-square-feet with six bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and a gasp worthy monthly co-op fees of $19,322, opens to a double-height entry with Arts and Crafts-inspired curved staircase and gleaming cherry wood floors that flow into a series of elegantly proportioned public rooms that include a tremendous living room with three exposures and a fireplace accented with turquoise ceramic tile.
The library and dining room feature elaborate plaster ceiling moldings and open views through casement windows while the eat-in kitchen offers panoramic northern vistas that stretch over the city to the George Washington Bridge.
Five en suite bedrooms plus a staff bedroom are located on the second floor while the uppermost level has a smooth paneled family/media room with sensational 16-foot ceiling and a projection system with drop-down screen.
