Donnafugata Dolce and Gabbana Rosa 2019 is a Provençal pale pink rosé wine made from a blend of Sicilian grapes grown on the northern slopes of Mount Etna and on the hills of Contessa Entellina, near Palermo.

The wine contains a fruty taste with some jasmine.

On the new collaboration, the Dolce and Gabbana designers said “We are Italian, we love to eat and drink a good wine, like Rosa, born from our collaboration with Donnafugata. For us it is like tasting the smells of our land, seeing its colours again and feeling its atmosphere.” The wine is characterised by its taste of jasmine, enriched with delicate hints of wild strawberry, peach and bergamot.

The bottle’s geometrical blue, red, white and pink label, designed by Dolce and Gabbana, is inspired by the details commonly seen on traditional carts native to Sicily. The rosé wine will go on sale next month on the Dolce and Gabbana website.
