Let\u2019s start with\u00a0The Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship.<\/a>\u00a0This is one of the biggest names of the Summit, but also a renowned name in the design world<\/strong><\/em>. For those who don\u2019t know, the\u00a0Michelangelo Foundation is an international non-profit entity that celebrates and preserves master craftsmanship and strengthens its connection with the world of design. A valuable addition to the event\u2019s\u00a0first edition, the foundation will present their plans and inputs on how to assure\u00a0the preservation of the design and craftsmanship across the planet!<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Portuguese Luxury and Watchmaking Association<\/a>\u00a0is another renowned guest speaker<\/strong><\/em> of the first\u00a0Luxury Design & Craftsmanship Summit.<\/a>\u00a0 It\u2019s a private company which represents approximately 60% of jewelry production in the North of Portugal, where we can find Porto and Gondomar. It associates approximately 400 companies and encompasses goldsmiths, jewelers, watchmakers and other associated fields. They are strong advocates of Craftsmanship\u00a0and Luxury Design and that\u2019s why they will have a lot to add to this edition.<\/p>\n

\"Meet<\/p>\n

Speaking of luxury,\u00a0\u00a0Vista Alegre<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Top\u00e1zio<\/a>\u00a0will also be present at the Luxury Design & Craftsmanship Summit as guest speakers. They are two of the top Portuguese design<\/strong><\/em> companies\u00a0and they\u00a0both respect, honor and elevate the craftsmanship values with their amazing products and collections. For those who don\u2019t know, Vista Alegre is one of the oldest porcelain manufacturers in Europe and it\u2019s also one of the most popular ones in the porcelain industry. The same goes for Top\u00e1zio. This brand has been dominating the jewelry industry for over a century.<\/p>\n

The Fashion Industry will also be represented at the summit. The\u00a0Storytailors<\/a>, one of Portugal\u2019s most iconic Fashion Designers\/Brands, Jo\u00e3o Branco and Luis Sanchez that are the leaders and the main creators of this stunning Fashion Studio will be\u00a0at the event.<\/p>\n

Representing the luxury furniture brands<\/strong><\/em> will be\u00a0\u00a0Boca do Lobo<\/a>, whose pieces of furniture are an exclusive, emotional and creative experience to anyone. Last but not least, the\u00a0Ricardo Espirito Santo Silva Foundation<\/a>\u00a0will also be a part of the event.\u00a0The Foundation is responsible for the Museum of Portuguese Decorative Arts, but also for two schools where several craftsmanship Arts are taught and kept alive.\u00a0Who better than this Foundation to take part of a celebration of craftsmanship and design? So don\u2019t miss this Summit on the 20th and 21st of June.<\/p>\n
