Soho House<\/strong><\/em>, founded in London in 1955 is a private member\u2019s club<\/strong><\/em> for people in the creative industries. Since then it has opened\u00a020 clubs across Europe and North America.<\/p>\n

This month, it\u2019s opening on two new locations, one in Brooklyn<\/strong><\/em>, New York and another in London.<\/p>\n

Nick Jones<\/strong><\/em>, Soho House\u2019s founder and CEO, chose the location of the new club, DUMBO House<\/strong><\/em> because he admires a good view, and the club sure has a great view over Manhattan\u2019s skyline<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

\"Take<\/p>\n

DUMBO house<\/strong><\/em> is the brand\u2019s first club in Brooklyn, but the third in New York. This one is architecture-themed and has an extensive art collection, with contributions from Zoe Buckman and Steven Siegel.<\/p>\n

\"Take<\/p>\n

The d\u00e9cor on both inside and outside areas is reminiscent of the 1960s and the 1970s, an era that defined Brooklyn as an enclave for artists. But according to Jones, the interiors are \u201ccontemporary but, at the same time, incredibly comfortable\u201d and have a \u201d lush feel about it, but in a modern way.\u201d<\/p>\n

The DUMBO House features a rooftop pool<\/strong><\/em>, jaw-dropping views, and stunning interiors.<\/p>\n

Jones also shared that the clubs are getting fewer and fewer corporate as the younger members play a huge role in defining a new generation of private clubs<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n
