Located on an iconic block in Downton Manhattan<\/strong><\/em>, this gold-brick building will be coming to the Lower East Side<\/strong><\/em> this spring.<\/p>\n

The 94-unit condominium building is the result of a collaboration between interior designer Adam Rolston and real estate agent Ben Shaoul. Both saw the incredible potential that a more textured building, that would stand out in the crowd of buildings, would have in the area.<\/p>\n

The gold fa\u00e7ade<\/strong><\/em> will surely be a hit for both residents and tourists, and we can imagine that\u00a0the luxury building<\/strong><\/em> will be the delight of Instagrammers!<\/p>\n

\u201cWe felt that a traditional glass structure didn\u2019t mesh with the surroundings,\u201d says Rolston, who looked for a material humble enough to belong in the neighborhood that had been home to waves of immigrants over decades, but luxurious enough to attract contemporary residents.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

He found the perfect material when he came across the artisanal\u00a0Spanish bricks infused with gold dust that overtime will oxidize and become darker. These gold bricks<\/strong><\/em> symbolize the eclectic and transformational nature of the neighborhood.<\/p>\n

The exterior of the building will have a glowing appearance, but keeps the\u00a0\u201cmuscular character, reminiscent of the workshops and manufacturing structures that once dominated the area,\u201d says Rolston.<\/p>\n

Sixty-thousand bricks were used for the building, each infused with 24K-gold dust<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

The interiors of the apartments, which will range from studios to four-bedroom apartments, and the price tags will start at $965.000 and can go up to $6.500.000.<\/p>\n

The interiors will have rich, natural and refined finishes, using concrete, bleached walnut, limestone and Nero Marquina marble<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n
