Chicago is like no other city when it comes to 20th-century architecture, especially Art Deco. Afterall this city is home to some iconic building as the\u00a0Carbide & Carbon Building.<\/p>\n

This apartment we are sharing with you today located in an Art Deco building<\/strong><\/em> in Chicago<\/strong><\/em>, renovated by the architect\u00a0Phillip Liederbach<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/em>The apartment was recently renovated by the designer Steven Gambrel<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

Located in the Palmolive Building<\/strong><\/em>, a 37-story tower was converted into condos in the 60\u2019s after serving as the\u00a0Colgate-Palmolive corporation headquarters and Hugh Hefner\u2019s first Playboy Club.<\/p>\n

The salon is filled with custom and vintage items. Luxury materials, exquisite one of a kind pieces and all the little details play together and give this apartment a polished look full of personality and history.<\/p>\n

Unique lighting fill the ceilings of this incredible\u00a05,500-square-foot apartment, that was originally a clean-lined open loft.<\/p>\n

The master bedroom is decorated using the finest materials, as leather and custom fabrics,\u00a0and as the rest of the house, the room is filled with vintage pieces. Every little detail was paid attention to, from the door panels to the types of wood used throughout the house.<\/p>\n

In the master bathroom, the designer kept the aesthetic. The room is paneled in different luxurious marbles<\/strong><\/em> and even has an unsigned plaster sculpture from the 20th century. The custom-made vanities are supported by bronze.<\/p>\n
