Installations at the V&A<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

There are three unmissable installations at the V&A. during the LDF<\/strong><\/em>. But the one we are highlighting is the immersive\u00a0Reflection Room by Australian light designer Flynn Talbot. The vibrant visual installation\u00a0celebrates light and color.<\/span><\/p>\n

Design Junction<\/h2>\n

King\u2019s Cross will be transformed into a design quarter<\/strong> <\/em>from September 21 until\u00a0the 24. More than 200 brands will be showcasing with the star of the show being the vibrant Gateways installation from designer\u00a0Adam Nathaniel Furman. There will also be a flower tunnel from Bloomon\u00a0and word has it that it\u2019s very Instagrammable. If you love all things design make sure you go this place as you\u2019ll be amazed!<\/p>\n

Villa Walala<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

If you\u2019ve been to London, you\u2019ve probably already spotted the work of Camille Walala around town, but her most notable and last work is the fun-filled Walala x Play maze installation at the\u00a0NOW Gallery in Greenwich. For this year\u2019s London Design Festival<\/strong><\/em> (LDF<\/strong><\/em>) landmark project, the textile designer will be bringing her bright colors and bold patterns to East London\u2019s urban jungle in the form of a squishy and playful, inflatable pop-up castle, right in the heart of Exchange Square.<\/p>\n

CitizenM x Yinka Ilori\u2019s\u00a0Estate Playground\"Top<\/em><\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

A similar concept to the one seen in Walala\u2019s pop-up castle. citizenM London Bankside Hotel, collaborating with Yinka Ilori, transformed its entrance into a bright and colorful playground inspired by the bold patterns of traditional Nigerian textiles. The hotel looks amazing even without the installation.<\/p>\n

Design Frontiers<\/span><\/h2>\n

Designers from all over the world will be pushing design\u2019s boundaries in this exciting exhibition at Somerset House<\/strong><\/em>. The 30 leading names will be creating collaborative (and we\u2019re guessing creative as well) installations. Don\u2019t miss out on Jaguar\u2019s two-room installation where they\u2019ll be highlighting the creative process of designing the cars of the future.<\/p>\n
