St\u00e9phane Rolland \u2018s 2012 Autumn \/ Winter had a sense of movement and fluidity that still inspires design lovers.<\/h2>\n

Fashion<\/strong><\/em> and design<\/strong><\/em> often go back in time to take ideas from the early generations\u2019 sense of style and living. Adding a few more turns to it, designers all around the world manage to transform old school fashion<\/strong><\/em> with modern and innovative approaches.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s precisely the kind of inspiration we take in our furniture designs<\/strong><\/em>. One of Luxxu<\/strong><\/em>\u2018s biggest goals is to create luxury items<\/strong><\/em> that combine traditional, classic design components with modern details, so that, in the end results in a timeless composition.<\/p>\n

Today we felt the need to go\u00a0back to St\u00e9phane Rolland<\/strong><\/em> \u2018s incredible Fall\/Winter collection 5 years ago to find the perfect\u00a0design<\/strong><\/em> inspiration.<\/p>\n

\"Today's<\/p>\n

In this collection St\u00e9phane Rolland<\/strong>\u00a0 <\/em>not only\u00a0<\/em>was inspired by the\u00a0history and traditional practices of Asia such as Hanfu kimonos and origami, but also by David Downtown\u2019s illustrations and Maria Pergay\u2019s works.<\/p>\n

\"Today's<\/p>\n

The dresses create sinuous forms over the body thanks to their linear outlines, drapes and ruffles. Precious details like metal appliqu\u00e9 and Swarovski crystals also exist to enhance the luxurious silhouette.<\/p>\n

The cocktail dresses were usually mid-length, yet the ball gowns and clocks were designed to be long with train.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Colors such as black, white, violet, green, yellow, blue and saffron were the center of the attention in this 2012 runaway.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Materials like taffeta, silk, cotton, wool, sequins and of course Swarovski crystals\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>were used as the main base for these stunning high couture dresses.<\/p>\n

In this collection, movement and a sense of fluidity was created with dazzling ruffles and drapes that were designed over straight lines.<\/p>\n

Accessories included\u00a0shoes with grosgrain and satin straps and metal heels.
