Riccardo Tisci<\/strong><\/em>\u2019s departure from Givenchy<\/strong><\/em> left us wandering who would replace him. During Paris Fashion Week<\/strong><\/em> it was revealed that Clare Waight Keller<\/strong><\/em>, from Chlo\u00e9<\/strong><\/em>, would be the new creative director.<\/p>\n

\"Clare<\/strong><\/p>\n

Riccardo Tisci<\/strong><\/em> spent 12 years as Givenchy<\/strong><\/em>\u2018s creative director creating many memorable outfits and lines. As soon as the news about his departure were brought into the light the speculation about who would take his place began.<\/p>\n

One of the biggest rumours, concerning who would replace Tisci, was the OFF-White fashion designer Virgil Abloh. Instead, Clare Waight Keller<\/strong><\/em>, who had previously been of Chlo\u00e9<\/strong><\/em>, joined the LVMH<\/a><\/strong><\/em> family.<\/p>\n

Givenchy<\/strong><\/em> broke the news by simply posting\u00a0a portrait of the creator<\/strong><\/em> captioned \u201c2017. CLARE WAIGHT KELLER. NEW ARTISTIC DIRECTOR. SHOT BY STEVEN MEISEL\u201d<\/p>\n

Waight Keller is the second female designer to make it at a LVMH<\/strong><\/em>-owned haute couture house. While she has Calvin Klein, Gucci and Pringle of Scotland on her r\u00e9sum\u00e9 this\u2019ll be her first time working for an haute couture<\/strong> <\/em>house.<\/p>\n

\"Clare<\/p>\n

\u00a0Given the diference of Tisci\u2019s and Keller\u2019s work it\u2019s an interesting choice for Givenchy<\/strong><\/em>.<\/div>\n
Rumour has it that Tisci will be going back to his roots at the italian brand Versace, where he fits right in with is sensual, form-fitting silhouettes. Keller is know for her ready to wear designs that is characterized by its ease and wearability.<\/div>\n

Their circle of celebrities is also quite different, while at the front row at Chlo\u00e9<\/strong><\/em> we could find celebrities like Cl\u00e9mence Po\u00e9sy and Solange Knowles, Tisci\u2019s Givenchy<\/strong><\/em> attracted celebrities like the Kardashain-Jenner family and Naomi Campbell.<\/div>\n
