The precious stone was found in the Letseng Mine in Lesotho, the birthplace of many of the\u00a0most remarkable gems<\/em>. Half of the world\u2019s largest and most exceptional diamonds found in the past century have been\u00a0refined by the english <\/span><\/span><\/span>jewellery house.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Graff Venus<\/a>\u00a0, which name is inspired by the Roman goddess of Love, was conceived after 18 months of intense work to ensure its colourness, lack of\u00a0fluorescence, immaculate symmetry and excellent polish. Attributes that guarantee a Type IIa classification, attributed to only the\u00a0top one to two\u00a0per cent of diamonds in the world.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As any other\u00a0diamond of the luxury jewellery<\/a> company, perfection was prioritised over size but that\u00a0didn\u2019t\u00a0imped the Venus of becoming the world\u2019s largest\u00a0flawless heart-shape diamond\u00a0with<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0118.78 carats of weight. The<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0extraordinary size of the stone made even necessary the development of special tools and new technologies to carry out the working process of the diamond.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
