Studio Shamshiri was founded in 2016 by Pamela and Ramin Shamshiri. The brother-sister team was one of Commune\u2019s four founding partners, and they received the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Award for their body of work completed between 2004 and 2015. Studio Shamshiri brings Pamela and Ramin\u2019s respective backgrounds in production, art direction, and set design to residential, commercial, and hospitality projects<\/a><\/span><\/strong> both domestic and international.<\/p>\n\n\n

Restoration work for homes designed by iconic architects such as A Quincy Jones, Stanford White, Nigel Coates, Rudolph Schindler, Myron Hunt, Buff & Hensman, and Andrew Geller is included in the studio\u2019s portfolio, as are ground-up projects with notable contemporaries<\/a><\/span><\/strong> such as Marmol Radziner and Johnston Marklee. The Los Angeles-based studio is located in the Thomson Building, a 1920s Hollywood landmark, that was acquired and restored by the Shamshiri team in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n
