This 10,000sqft Upper East Side Townhome, designed by famed architect Grosvenor Atterbury in 1901, is a true New York classic. The client was relocating from out of state and desired a modern, family-friendly environment that emitted and highlighted the townhomes\u2019 classic heritage. When it came to furnishing<\/a><\/span><\/strong> this space, Adam Cassino Design prioritized both family friendliness and style. Classic shapes and finishes were combined with high-performance and kid-friendly fabrics. All of the furniture has sleek and contemporary lines while remaining extremely comfortable. This client was looking for a turnkey solution<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, and when they moved in with their family, they were blown away by the level of detail they put in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surprisingly, the interior of this 6500sqft family home<\/a><\/span><\/strong> began as Gothic and heavy. Before purchasing, the client brought Adam Cassino Design in and asked if they could transform it into a light and airy transitional feel that they liked; Adam and his team clearly could. Remodeling began immediately, and in less than a year, this now updated transitional home is a joy to be in. They updated the entire home\u2019s color palette, stone surfaces, flooring, bathrooms, kitchen finishes, and all lighting<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, and added elegant woodwork detail throughout. This home has far exceeded the client\u2019s expectations and is a beloved space for the family, now fully furnished<\/a><\/span><\/strong> in exquisite, comfortable, and usable pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
