We are passionate about motivation and the will to create, which is why this project of the Symbiotic Towers is so interesting and unique to us. This on-hold project is to be located in Jumeirah Gardens in Dubai. The proposal aims to mitigate the city\u2019s climate effects and promises to accomplish its purpose. AmorphouStudio\u2019s mixed-use proposal, inspired by the formation of eroded rock patterns found in natural systems and desert oasis, seeks to integrate contextual environmental data and the natural landscape of Dubai into a synthesis of forms, skins, and public spaces. A true futuristic masterpiece, right? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Symbiotic Towers project consists of a residential tower, a hotel, and office<\/a> tower that are linked on the ground level by a double-deck pedestrian shopping plaza. The connecting plaza establishes two micro-climatic zones that can be used throughout the year. The lower deck, the first zone, is a great green semi-shaded oasis level packed with trees and water to provide gathering zones for people during the hot summer season. It is situated on the natural landscape level so that pedestrians can access it from all sides. The second zone is a stretched perforated deck that gently ramps up from both ends of the site to form an elevated upper plaza connected to the lower level oasis via numerous ramps. The trees that extend through the openings in this plaza provide some shade. In some of these openings, photovoltaic umbrellas have also been installed on tree-like structures. They collect solar energy and convert it into power to power the oasis level\u2019s cross-ventilation system. This treatment, combined with the shade provided by the upper deck level and dense plantation, creates a microclimatic habitable environment that can be used during Dubai<\/a>\u2018s hottest seasons. The Symbiotic Towers is an irreverent and brilliant concept, right? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This design\u2019s sustainable treatment reduces reliance on the existing air-conditioning system and creates a symbiotic relationship between the architecture and Dubai\u2019s natural environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They investigate various methodologies for performative integration of these disciplines, which they express through geometry, composition, and spatial differentiation.
