From design to sailing, the team behind Queen Anne, Cunard\u2019s 249th ship describe the design inspiration<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and aspects of the Studio\u2019s first maritime project. On this monumental project, David Collins Studio is collaborating with Richmond International, Sybille de Margerie Interiors, and Adam D. Tihany. It is scheduled to join the fleet in 2024, so if you\u2019re a fan of these kind of experiences, you can\u2019t miss this one out!<\/p>\n\n\n

Simon Rawlings, Creative Director of David Collins Studio, says, \u201cI\u2019ve always wanted to design food retail.\u201d It may surprise you that a firm that has designed stores<\/a><\/span><\/strong> for jewelers David Morris and De Grisogono, as well as fashion labels Jimmy Choo and Alexander McQueen<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, and created the timeless look of restaurants like The Wolseley and Cecconi\u2019s, has taken so long to enter the world of high-end food shopping. However, if David Collins Studio commits to a project<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, it will always be the greatest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This one-of-a-kind Almacantar exhibition apartment at The Bryanston, Hyde Park, features strong color stories, archive furniture designs<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, and a handpicked mix of modern British artists and artisans. Nick Vinson curated the project, which was designed by David Collins Studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1997, the Nobu craze came on Park Lane, bringing Londoners<\/a><\/span><\/strong> to blond wood, black fish, and a welcoming yell of \u2018irasshaimase!\u2019. The opening of the Berkeley Street follow-up in 2005, with its flashbulb-popping paparazzi outside and table-hopping spectacle of celebs within, reinforced Nobu\u2019s reputation as the Japanese restaurant with the heat of a jalape\u00f1o slice.<\/p>\n\n\n

Lewis has worked on a growing number of international projects<\/a><\/span><\/strong> since joining David Collins Studio 12 years ago. Lewis has a particular fondness for the FF&E sector of his job, having started out as a furniture designer with a penchant for well-crafted furnishings<\/a><\/span><\/strong> ingrained in him as a child during visits to his grandfather\u2019s antique shop. Lewis highlights the need of establishing a distinct identity while building retail spaces, as well as the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on retail design<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

In an exploration of the British aesthetic<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, here, the presiding influence is one of early modernism<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and the execution is a sublimely judged paring back of form. The unrestricted flow of natural light softens the distinction between the home itself and the breathtaking landscape that surrounds it on The Peak in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delaire Graff Estate is located at the very top of the Helshoogte Pass, which weaves its way up a steep slope, and looks out over some of the most stunning landscape in the Cape Winelands. Vineyards and well-kept lawns cascade down mountain slopes, framed by lofty peaks blanketed in snow in the winter.<\/p>\n\n\n

You\u2019ve got a brief, you\u2019re attempting to keep 50 million people happy, and you want to give something particularly special to a global, ultra-high-net-worth clientele<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. Who do you call? It was 2015, and Savills director Richard Dalton was faced with a dilemma when he was selling 5,000 square feet of prime real estate<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, including a \u00a320 million penthouse apartment atop The Buckingham, three meticulously converted Grade II-listed Nash-style town houses located opposite Buckingham Palace, and a rather famous resident. Dalton called for David Collins Studio!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
