The Parisian design studio, Gilles & Boissier were responsible for the boutique interiors that showcase the best of the luxury ski and apr\u00e8s-ski label, Moncler. Dark wood walls and floors create a sophisticated backdrop for the brand\u2019s practical yet fashion-focussed clothing and accessories. Marble elements and furry throws and furniture amp up the luxury factor, while styled mannequins punctuate the space, showcasing how to wear the brand\u2019s pieces from top to toe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two interior architects were tasked with designing the common areas, spa and 115 rooms of the first hotel opened by Baccarat, the prestigious newcomer to the luxury <\/a>accommodations sector.\u00a0For the first Baccarat Hotel, Doroth\u00e9e Boissier and Patrick Gilles decided to emphasize 18th-century design influences, all while bringing out the energy of New York.<\/p>\n\n\n

Patrick Gilles and Doroth\u00e9e Boissier met in Christian Liaigre\u2019s studios. Boissier, passionate about theatrical and Opera decorations, graduated from the ESAG Penninghen graphic arts school in Paris, and later on, went on to work for Philippe Starck\u2019s studio whereas Gilles studied at the \u00c9cole Camondo in Paris and later become more independent by creating his own studio PG Studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
