Before Cochet Pais\u2019s incredible work, this opulent French apartment was all set on just one floor, with a surface of 150 m2. The project consists of the elevation of the building, to create an additional floor, transforming the luxury residence into a 250 m2 duplex facing the port of\u00a0Cannes<\/strong>.
The construction, remodeling, and decoration<\/a> were done over 2 years. The family-owned design studio created by\u00a0Yannick Cochet and Gregory Pa\u00efs\u00a0has developed this amazing French apartment overlooking the port of Cannes and Boca do Lobo had to be in the heart of this amazing interior design project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D&K\u2019s original brief was to decorate a villa set in the hills of Cannes, overlooking the bay.
The design concept gave a modern style but also maintain the villa\u2019s character, with a sense of luxury and rural elegance.
The main living space was re-configured and the installment of floor to ceiling, glass-paneled dividers gave rooms a sense of light, space, and purpose, and a limestone coat finish to the interior walls was chosen to complement the existing dry stonewalls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The open plan kitchen and wide wooden parquet floors helped to marry the terrace with the living room area, creating a natural extension with comfort and style at the heart of the brief. The panoramic sea view brought many natural changing colors into space so a neutral color scheme was chosen. The natural and light tones in the furniture often reflect the Cote d\u2019Azur blue skies and magnificent pink sunsets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
