Jeffrey Bilhuber\u2019s New Project is a Blissful Home in Wyoming<\/em><\/span><\/strong> \u21d2<\/em><\/strong> Elle Decor\u2019sA-List designer\u00a0Jeffrey Bilhuber<\/em><\/strong> has brought his eclectic and luxurious style to the rustic town of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Let\u2019s take a look at the designer\u2019s newest project!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lodge was built with 19th-century structures, and it is pretty much what one would expect from a lodging: high ceilings, fireplaces and a lot of timber. Jeffrey Bilhuber, however, had other plans for the house: \u201cYou say\u00a0lodge,<\/em>\u00a0and you get clear ideas of what one should look like,\u201d he says. \u201cI had to invent a whole new language.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The client had worked with the designer before, and his satisfaction with his work on their Manhattan home led the owner to contact him again. \u201cJeffrey Bilhuber is the kind of designer who takes your own taste and makes it better,\u201d the homeowner says. \u201cWe gave him a blank sheet of paper and said, \u2018Do what you want.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bilhuber started by bringing in color to the lodge, which would usually have a full wooden aesthetic, by painting stripes on the floor and adding colorful furniture to match. The common spaces were designed to be cozy and inviting to the guests staying at the lodge. \u201cI want people to congregate here,\u201d Jeffrey Bilhuber justifies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
