We are already used to the fact that in a certain week at the beginning of each year, the capital of Italy is transformed into a world of design and culture<\/strong>, full of interesting places and incredible things to know.\u00a0Milan Design Week<\/strong> 2019 has already passed and we are here to show you the most visited places, and those most stunning, considering our tastes. Let\u2019s see!<\/p>\n

House Of Job \u2013 Porta Venezia<\/strong><\/h3>\n

When setting up its first permanent space, Studio Job<\/strong><\/a>, the well-known Dutch art and design studio, gives the space the name House Of Job<\/strong>. It is located in Porta Venezia and opens with a sculptural exhibition of new works and classics from the studio itself, from its 20 years of existence, and a few more collaborations with brands such as Qeeboo, Seletti and others. Other articles will be exhibited in venues such as Railway Pavilion of the National Museum of Science and Technology \u201cLeonardo da Vinci\u201d and in Rho Fiera.<\/p>\n

\nThe Bagatti Valsecchi<\/strong> Museum opened its doors during the Milan Design Week<\/strong> 2019, and seven international brands known for the high craftsmanship performed invaded the space.<\/span> Milanese designer Katrin Herden has transformed the magnificent museum into a \u201cPalace of Wonders\u201d, combining the Renaissance and neo-renaissance furniture<\/strong> of the museum itself with its contemporary decor accessories, forming a space worthy of visiting and wanting to return.<\/span> The result is seven dazzling spaces, rare to see, each with the organization of different brands, including Formacemento, Sohil, and the works of designers such as Marialaura Rossiello, Bruno Moinard and Pierre Gonalons.<\/span>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Ventura Centrale \u2013 Via Ferrante Aporti 9<\/h3>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

Ventura Centrale<\/strong> arrives at its 3rd edition with long queues for entrance, which proves its success from previous editions. There is an expansion of its spaces thanks to the recovery and reopening of six other vaults of the Warehouses of the Central Station. During the restoration works of these areas under the railway, some hidden treasures of the history of Milan<\/strong> were found. This year there are 17 facilities of designers and companies from all over the world, including Dutch designer Maarten Baas, \u201cI Think Therefore I Was\u201d, or brands such as AGC Inc., Weltevree, Lensvelt, Rapt Studio and many others. At night, with with a different concept, there is a space for music with the DJs and producers of the Apollo Fest.<\/p>\n

Palazzo Litta \u2013 Corso Magenta 24<\/h3>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

The old Baroque Palace of Corso Magenta came alive during the Milan Design Week<\/strong> 2019, with the presentation of 22 international exhibitors. Several installations were present, among which the students of \u00c9cole Camondo, who brought the Theater del Giorno, an alphabetical study to illustrate to the world the profession of interior architect<\/strong>, also students of the Polytechnic School of Design of the SPD, experienced the XL EXTRALIGHT, material in vogue in recent years. From Italian carpets to Japanese textiles, the palace has been full of talents from various parts of the world. Echo Pavilion, for example, by Pezo von Ellrichshausen, is a polished steel architecture<\/strong> that enlarges the space reflecting the colonnade outside, like a mirror, while from within you can contemplate a portion of the sky.<\/p>\n

The city of Milan<\/strong> is beautiful anyway, however, these are the most stunning installations<\/strong> from the Milan Design Week<\/strong> 2019,\u00a0which made it even more attractive to visit the Italian capital.<\/p>\n
