Located in Paseo de la Castellana, one of the most famous avenues in Madrid, TOTÓ is described as a restaurant that represents Italian cuisine at its best. The brand is ready to spread to other worldwide locations and will soon launch its new restaurant in the Middle East according to one of its owners, Cristiano Ronaldo.

TOTÓ opened in 2020 and is part of the Mabel Capital group that also owns Tatel Doha. The restaurant’s interiors are characterized by their 50s and 60s-inspired aesthetic from the iconic film Cinema Paradiso, a representation of the purest form of love for cinema during the postwar period in Italy.

Italian chef Emiliano Celli, the former chef at Taverna Trilussa in Rome, is the one responsible for all the delicious dishes that take part in the menu of the restaurant. TOTÓ’s cuisine stands out for its respect for the product and a careful selection of every element of biological and sustainable production, allowing the chef to create wonderful meals with traditional Italian techniques.

The result is a collection of dishes filled with aromas, tastes and colours that transport you to classic Italy. Nonetheless, it couldn’t be any other way, TOTÓ also offers a sophisticated wine list with national and international references, where Italian wines stand out, making it one of the most complete wine lists in Spain.

The concept of TOTÓ is to have a main room blended with the global tendency of rough luxury. MABEL Design, the interior design studio from MABEL CAPITAL group, was responsible for the design of the restaurant, with interior designer Marta Fueyo taking the lead on the project.

The decor is characterized by the dim lights from the suspensions hanging above the tables, the noble materials and recovered wood, as well as the exposed beams and the carefully selected collection of photos of Italy in the 50s.

TOTÓ includes an imponent room with 600m2, reserved areas which are more secluded from preying eyes, and a central piano that takes part in the restaurant‘s offer of the live music programme. It is the ideal restaurant to indulge in premium cuisine and beverages that include classic cocktails or bolder suggestions of Mediterranean inspiration.
