Designer Elizabeth Krueger put her apartment for sale and it’s as luxurious as you can imagine!
When Elizabeth Krueger, from Elizabeth Krueger Design, put her apartment for sale she got the visit of a fashion-loving couple, and although she did not get an offer on the house, the couple loved her aesthetic and she landed a client!
Later the interior designer closed on an apartment, still in Chicago but in a more desirable neighborhood for the couple. Krueger’s industrial meets modern glam appealed so much to the fashion stylist that he specifically asked her to design their apartment.
The end result is a bold, yet homey apartment. See below!
A house full of bold design statements, as requested by the client. To balance out the style the designer used luxurious materials, colorful art pieces jewel tones and masculine pieces creating exclusive settings full of detail.
In the drawing room, Krueger created two separated yet harmonious areas, one for seating, one for dining. The client’s wanted a more formal drawing room but they also wanted each room to be functional for their lifestyle, so the designer found the perfect balance.
The designer decided to place an oversized mirror dividing the living and dining areas. This not only reflects the light but also adds that dramatic element to the room, while keeping it light and airy.
The master bedroom keeps the metallic theme alive. Custom metal doors contrast with the soothing silk wallpaper. The bedroom is the ultimate expression of the industrial meets glam we mentioned above.
We love this apartment! What about you?
