Emily Blunt’s Brooklyn Townhouse features vivid color pallets and plenty of natural lighting
Talented actress Emily Blunt (who we will soon see as Mary Poppins in an upcoming Disney movie) and husband John Krasinski, recently listed their lovely Brooklyn Townhouse with the price value of $8 Million.
Last year the celebrities purchased the seven-bedroom Park Slope property for $6 million and renovated the space while still maintaining many of its architectural features. The property is located at 586 4th Street and features a vibrant colorful interior design.
According to the couple they are ready to sell the luxury property due the simple fact that they haven’t spend enough time there. “We’ve been nomads for a while now, but that’s the nature of the business,” – said Krasinski.
Peek inside the celebrity home.
In the living room blue velvet chairs are complemented by light wooden floors, neutral-colored walls and elegant vintage furnishings. An assortment of paintings decorate the walls while a brass lighting suspension falls from the ceiling.
In the dining area a rectangular wooden table is surrounded by beige velvet chairs allowing enough space for 8 guests. Large windows enable plenty of natural lighting into the space while a colorful and playful lighting piece finishes up the look.
The main living area is topped a sophisticated white rug, rustic furnishings and a marble wall mounted fireplace.
Full height glass windows allow the kitchen area to be connected with the outdoors while light wooden flooring and white walls create a minimal aesthetic.
A long marble kitchen counter is placed in the center of the room and white kitchen cabinets provide enough storage. Golden accents are given throughout the room creating a luxurious feel.
The master bedroom features elegant pastels and white accents. A king size bed is placed in the center accompanied by wooden black nightstands. A textured armchair is located in the corner to assure coziness. The result is a simple yet refined look.
The master bathroom is by far one of the most luxurious spaces in the celebrity home. A double washbasin is covered in white marble and polished gold finishes while a rectangular wooden mirror is placed on top.
The floor is covered in grey and white tiling, contrasting with the white porcelain walls. On the right a glass shower provides a contemporary look, while, on the left side gold-plated brass wall lamps finish up the look.
